K-WAY

Paris 1965.

While observing, sitting outside Café de la Paix,  Founder Leon Claude Duhamel noticed people rushing by in their soaking wet clothes, with uncomfortable umbrellas in their hands.

He noticed a woman with two children passing by: the two children were wearing red nylon clothes, something original that he had never seen before. He picked up his notebook and wrote down: red nylon clothes. Then in the course of time he thought about it again, searched through his notes and told himself he had to do something about it.
