College Internship 2020
OTTE is seeking a non-paid intern to join it’s Buying team. The candidate should be reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about fashion. The intern will support the Buying team, while gaining comprehensive knowledge of entry-level buying and planning functions. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who wants to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry, as he/she will experience the entire buying process during fashion week and market.
Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the Buying team

Assist Buying team with all necessary market preparation, including developing seasonal sales reports, maintaining and organized system for all purchase orders and sales confirmations

Learn to track sales, analyze reports, make reorder recommendations to the Buying team

Maintain designer inquiry email and suggest new brands to the Buying team

Assist in researching competitor markdowns on a regular basis

Create seasonal trend boards that highlight buys for future seasons

Assist in sorting incoming and outgoing orders
Skills and Requirements:

Currently pursuing degree in relevant field / experience in the fashion industry preferred

Strong analytical skills and a basic understanding of retail math

Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects in a fast paced environment

Strong written and oral communication skills

Clear interest in career path and an eagerness to learnUpdate

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week; 4 days preferred
